EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Edward Bonnici and Joe Borg will be holding their posts  of President and Treasurer accordingly.

No one contested the General Secretary Post.  Interim, Mario Fleri Soler will keep on holding his post until the next EGM which will be called in the first weeks of September, where a final decision will be taken according depending whether  MDA will have any nominations for the post of General Secretary or not.

1.03 Il-kompetizzjonijiet għandhom jintlagħbu skond ir-Regolamenti tal-Logħob kif maħruġa mill-M.D.A. Il-format tal-logħob tal-league Nazzjonali biss, jista’ jinbidel b’votazzjoni fil-Laqgħa Ġenerali jew Straordinarja.

Il-Kunsill tal-M.D.A. għandu jkun kompost minn President, Segretarju Ġenerali, Teżorier. Il-Kunsill irid ikun kompost  sa massimu ta 11 il membru. Il-Kunsill għandu dritt jikkooptja membri għall-kwalità ta’ xogħol partikolari, iżda dawn il-membri ma jkollhomx dritt għal-vot.

PLAYING RULES:

 

PLAYER OF THE YEAR POINTS:

 

OVERALL: ALL competitions organized by MDA or with the permission of the MDA count  and this including also the  Sunday Tournaments

DIVISION POY: 8 a side and 5 a side (group stage) only

 

Malta Open Singles : Same points given by BDO as per BDO Category in that particular year

Malta Open Doubles: Same as above but points are  split between the 2 players

 

Premier League: 1^st place : 20points 2^nd place:  12points 3^rd place:  8 points 5^th – 10^th place: 4 points

 

NATIONAL LEAGUE 8-a-side:

• Club can only have a maximum of 2 teams in the national league.
• Teams from same club can win the promotion and play in the same division of the other team irrelevant of  the division
• 1st and 2nd division will be played on 3 rounds as  2 years ago. Division 3 format  depends on the number of teams in it.

 

 5 A SIDE

5  a side will still have seeding in place as per these last 2 years. However before the draws a bracket system will be set beforehand  and no draws will be done for the second round.
