Various local players last weekend participated in the Italian Grand Master Open in Bologna, Italy with mixed results obtained across the two-day event.
On day one, the singles competition took place with five local players: David Attard, Norbert Attard, Chris Cohen, Tony Borg and Albert Scerri reaching the last 32 stage with Scerri and N. Attard progressing one further round to then be eliminated
The 30th edition of the Malta International Darts Open came to an end last Thursday with top quality darts witnessed throughout the 3-day event. 290 men and 80 ladies participated in the singles competition with another 170 pairs in the doubles competition for a total of 540 entries.

Three local players over the past week competed in four prestigious competitions held in Bridlington, England.
